Bristow council approves payroll, claims and grant-funded engineering payments

The Bristow City Council approved its consent agenda on April 6, which included maintenance claims of $86,024.78, unpaid claims of $422.00, actual payroll claims of $91,056.70 for the pay period ending March 27, 2026, and estimated payroll claims of $114,911.92 for the pay period ending April 10, 2026. Council voted by roll call to approve the consent agenda unanimously.
The council also rescinded two earlier claims to Holloway, Updike & Bellen and approved a new Claim #20195 to that firm for $37,500 to cover engineering on the Final Design for the Bristow Heartland Industrial Park (paid from an Oklahoma Department of Commerce grant). Additionally, the council approved Blanket Claim #16455 to the Bank of Oklahoma for an OWRB WWTP loan payment of $78,561.30 for six months (monthly payment listed as $13,093.55).
