The presenter summarized costs including design, construction contingency, DSA fees and testing and said, "And that gets us to the $1,775,000," as the total estimate for the project package.
With board approval the district will advertise for contractors and select a lease‑leaseback partner; staff said a contractor selection and preconstruction schedule should provide the detailed campus rollout and communications to teachers and families. Acting school leadership on site urged a clear community rollout plan so teachers and families know timelines for relocation and classroom preparation. Board members noted recordkeeping and uploading of as‑built drawings to the district database to help future maintenance.
