Commission hears water infrastructure update: meter valve, pump-station evaluation and EQ tank timing

At the May 6 meeting, a commissioner provided updates on several water-infrastructure items. He said the commission had approved a water meter valve for the fire station and that CVE is moving forward with an evaluation of potential upgrades at the Huntington and Long Beach pump stations.
The commissioner also noted dye testing work and said the EQ tank is on target to be functional by the end of May though associated field work may take longer and is weather-dependent.
