Commissioners discussed the possibility of a special meeting to certify the results of the June 6 Firefighter/Paramedic exam. Recording Secretary Diane Szlempa said she would be on vacation Friday, June 12 and the week after, returning June 22; Law Director John Gasior said meetings require at least 24 hours' notice and suggested Thursday, June 11 or the week of June 22 as possible options. The commission agreed to wait for exam results and to check commissioners' schedules before setting any special meeting date. The next regular meeting was set for Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
