The planning board voted on a motion early in the Aug. 7 meeting to continue the public hearing on the Homeland Towers application to the September meeting so staff and consultants can review revised drawings that the applicant submitted. The chair noted the revised application was received Tuesday and needed consultant review before the hearing could be completed.
"Can I get a motion to continue the public hearing?" the chair asked; a committee member moved to continue the hearing and the motion carried with an ‘Aye’ vote. The board recorded the continuance to allow the applicant and consultants time to prepare and for materials to be posted publicly ahead of the next hearing.
