Borough Manager Cindy Wells told council the borough received several grants totaling $264,000 to support improvements to the first floor of the City Building. Wells listed $75,000 from an ECGRA Anchor Building Grant, $35,000 from the Helping Today Grant with ECF, and $154,000 from the Community Project Fund secured through Mike Kelly's office.
"This provides a total of $264,000 for continuing improvements on the first floor of the City Building," Wells said. Council did not record a vote for acceptance because the manager presented the grant receipts as informational; the minutes do not list how the grants will be allocated line-by-line or a construction timeline.
