Lourance Hall provided an update on the Round Valley Community Water District's Town Creek Restoration and Education Project at the Aug. 6 RVAMAC meeting, saying in-stream restoration work planned for July will instead begin in September. The project is funded by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Cannabis Restoration Grant Program.
Hall also said the district is offering water testing for individual landowners’ wells; residents who want their well tested were given a contact phone number (707-972-3637) and an email (RVCWDprojects@gmail.com). The minutes record the scheduling change and the outreach offer but do not include technical test methods or budget details.
