At its Nov. 17 meeting Carneys Point's Committee approved several routine but consequential items by unanimous motions:
- Resolutions 2025-206 through 2025-208 authorized refunds: $1,789.70 to Block 169.01 Lot 23 for a 100% disabled veteran exemption; $1,427.55 to CoreLogic for Bk 26 Lot 13 for an erroneous lien payment; and $1,758.72 to CoreLogic for Bk 26 Lot 12 for an erroneous lien payment.
- Resolution 2025-209 appointed Stanford Quarles as Working Foreman of Public Works; committee members praised his years of service. The committee also authorized the Mayor to sign the FY 2027 Municipal Alliance grant (Resolution 2025-204) to prevent substance use disorder. Separately, the committee accepted a proposal from Sickels for the 2026 Briar Lane reconstruction and drainage improvements at a cost of $48,725 and voted to have the Mayor sign the proposal.
All listed motions carried by voice vote. The meeting record shows unanimous committee approval for these routine financial and personnel items.
