RVAMAC adds support to RVIHC's BHCIP grant application for behavioral health facility

Kathy Britton presented a proposed RVAMAC letter supporting a BHCIP grant application the Round Valley Indian Health Center submitted to the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). The conceptual design described a new behavioral health facility that 'would include a commercial kitchen, space for the food pantry and a "healing space" which is a gymnasium sized space that would have dividers and could double as a conference space.'
Dane moved that RVAMAC add its support to the letter; the motion passed with no objections. Council members did not vote on any funding or commit county resources — the action was limited to endorsing the application through a letter of support.
