Carneys Point's Township Committee on Nov. 17 approved Resolution 2025-203, authorizing the fourth amendment to the Amended Redevelopment Agreement for Block 255, Lot 12 (Kelly Farm South).
Clint Allen, speaking for the project, described the approved change as an expansion of an earlier-approved industrial development. "This is going to be another Amazon warehouse. It will be about 1.2 million sq. ft., and have a second floor. It will house about 700 employees over three shifts. The inside will be mainly robotic," Allen said, and added the developer hopes to break ground in March. Mayor Brown noted the warehouse is not a new approval but reflects amendments to the previously authorized project.
Committee member Mr. Pelura moved the resolution; Mrs. Shaw seconded and the motion carried by unanimous vote. The record does not list individual roll-call votes by name. The amendment updates the redevelopment agreement terms to reflect the project's current design and phasing schedule.
