Councilors said part-time coverage would expand flexibility and coverage without exceeding current budgetary allocations. The motion to appoint Fye was made by Councilor Joyce and seconded by Councilor Osborn and carried without dissent. Personnel paperwork and scheduling will be handled by the borough manager and police department.
