The Litchfield Public Schools Board on Nov. 12 adopted a resolution canvassing the Nov. 5, 2024 school district election and certified the results. The board recorded that 5,045 voters cast ballots and declared Alex Carlson (3,720 votes), Stephanie Danielson (2,850) and Tim Oster (2,786) elected to four-year terms beginning Jan. 6, 2025.
The resolution directs the district clerk to certify the results to the county auditors and authorizes the chair and clerk to execute and deliver certificates of election once the time for contesting the election has passed and required campaign finance reports under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 211A are filed. The board approved the canvass and certificate-resolution by roll call vote with all present members voting in favor.
