School board approves minutes, financials and a slate of routine items

The MSD of New Durham Township school board voted on a package of routine items during its April 9, 2025 regular session, approving the March 13, 2025 minutes and the district financial reports. Board President Mark Parkman presided; Mrs. Jedrysek moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Hodge seconded. The motion carried.
The board also approved a set of operational matters, including acceptance of a $500 donation from Jamie Poloncak for the high school and middle school track programs and a donated manual chair lift from The Wheelchair Shop. Mr. Hodge moved to approve the financials later in the agenda; Mrs. Jedrysek seconded and the motion carried. Other routine approvals recorded as carried included the 2025 lawn-care contract with Signature Lawn and the FFA field trip to the State Envirothon Contest.
