The Hill City School Board approved multiple personnel actions during its Jan. 27 and Feb. 24 meetings, including hiring Alicia Martin as a part-time paraprofessional, Bobbi McNeil as a 1.0 FTE paraprofessional, Jason Zwierzchowski as part-time Indian Education Student Advocate, and the Feb. 24 approval to hire Angela Hare as a long-term school counselor substitute through March 14, 2025.
The board also recognized staff and volunteers: School Counselor Appreciation Week (Feb. 3โ7) and Bus Drivers Appreciation (Feb. 21) were noted, specifically thanking Lindsey Erickson and bus drivers. Donations accepted for student activities included multiple contributions from the Hill City Firemans Relief Association and earlier donations from the Lions Club and Hill City Thrift Shop recorded in January minutes. Motions to approve hires were made and seconded by board members and passed 5-0 with one absence in each instance.
