The Floodwood WBWF committee discussed renaming the Worlds Best Workforce (WBWF) committee to CACR — Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness — for the 2025 committee calendar and the need to clarify goals in the annual report. The change and reporting responsibilities were recorded as an agenda item during the October 24, 2024 meeting.
Committee members listed five core goals that will frame CACR reporting: ensuring all children are ready for school; closing racial and economic achievement gaps; preparing all students for career and college; ensuring all students graduate from high school; and preparing students to be lifelong learners. The group emphasized the need to document those goals precisely in the annual submission to the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE).
