The Story County Board approved a consent agenda on April 14 that bundled nine routine items and several contracts and amendments. Items included a 28E agreement for contract law enforcement services between Story County and the City of Slater at $71.94 per capita (effective 7/1/26–6/30/27); an agreement with Infomax Office Systems for folder maintenance ($550.02, effective 5/26–4/27); a facility rental agreement with Central Iowa Expo, Inc. for Sheriff's Office training dates for $600; Amendment No. 1 to the Hannum’s Mill Project Design with Houston Engineering for additional services ($6,500); and Amendment No. 2 for the Deppe Family Recreation Area final design with Bolton & Menk Inc. ($9,800). The board approved the consent agenda by roll call (MCU).
The Board also approved personnel actions recorded in the meeting packet: pay adjustments effective 4/19/26 for multiple Sheriff's Office staff (for example, Jaime Johnson at $2,624.80 per biweekly pay period; Kathleen Origer at $2,894.40/bw) and new hires effective 4/21/26 (for example, Cody Fisher at $2,575.20/bw; Conley Petermeier at $2,575.20/bw). Supervisors approved the consent agenda and the personnel actions together; no dissent was recorded.
