The Long Prairie‑Grey Eagle School Board voted Dec. 16 to approve a property tax levy in the amount of $3,345,589.28 for taxes payable in 2025. The motion to approve the levy was moved by Jeremiah Zahnow and seconded by Erin Jager; the roll-call vote was yes from Gohman, Jager, Lemke, Levin, Wright and Zahnow and no from Wolf. The motion carried.
Board materials state the levy package includes turf implementation funding. The levy vote followed the Truth in Taxation presentation earlier in the meeting and was described in the motion as the district’s formal levy for taxes payable in 2025.
