Litchfield board elects officers, adopts Robert’s Rules for 2025

The Litchfield Public School District Board of Education elected Alex Carlson as chair, Darrin Anderson as vice chair, Greg Mathews as clerk and Marcia Provencher as treasurer during its organizational proceedings on Jan. 13, 2025. The nominations were uncontested and each officer was declared elected by acclamation.
The board also moved to adopt Robert’s Rules for formally conducting meetings; the motion to use the parliamentary procedure carried 6-0. Chair Alex Carlson presided over the organizational items after his election, and the board approved the change without dissent. The board approved paying members $60 per meeting with an additional $5 for the chair.
