ISD 361 board approves wide-ranging personnel consent agenda, hires technology director

The Independent School District No. 361 board on Aug. 18 approved a broad consent agenda that included multiple staff hires and accepted several resignations.
The board approved the hire of Casey Stenberg as Technology Director and added the Technology Director position to the at‑will employment schedule. Other personnel actions approved included the hire of Chris Simpson as a Special Education and Intervention Teacher at Falls High School; Jenesa Balaski as PreSchool/ECFE teacher; Hailey Auran as a fifth grade teacher; and a slate of athletic and volunteer coaches for the 2025–26 school year. The board also accepted the resignation of Ashley Hall, assistant to the superintendent and district grant writer, effective Aug. 8, 2025, and recorded other resignations and reassignments noted on the consent agenda.
The consent agenda was moved by Dale Johnson and seconded by Jessica Crosby and carried unanimously among members present (Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1). The minutes and supporting personnel listings were approved as presented. The meeting minutes list several other individual hires and volunteer coach appointments that the board adopted as part of the consent package.
