Odessa School Board approves consent agenda, accepts bus driver resignation

The Odessa School District #105 Board of Directors approved its consent agenda during the Oct. 22 regular meeting in the high-school library, accepting personnel and financial items and recording a unanimous 5–0 vote.
The consent agenda included the Sept. 24 regular meeting minutes; payroll warrants and direct deposits totaling $330,800.01; General Fund vouchers (totaling $79,634.81, with one voided warrant); Capital Projects Fund vouchers totaling $45,516.50; and ASB Fund vouchers totaling $15,906.09. The consent items also included the resignation of Lynette Williamson, bus driver. Board member Zachary Schafer moved to approve the consent agenda; Janie Steward seconded the motion, which carried 5–0.
Earlier in the meeting the board adopted an amended agenda after a motion by Director Sheena Starkel, seconded by Zach Schafer, to add the personnel resignation, remove the Highly Capable Plan item, and add a Hagan Foundation grant item. That agenda amendment also passed 5–0.
The board did not enter executive session and adjourned the meeting at 6:42 p.m.
