Resident warns council that proposed Moose Lodge event venue could cause noise and licensing issues

He urged council to consult municipal code—specifically the noise-control provisions in Chapter 8—before the city considers approvals or liquor-license applications. The commenter said such uses are typically located in business districts or along state highways rather than in residential areas and warned of potential noise and enforcement issues if the venue operates near homes.
"This has the potential of being in a residential area and being, probably, pretty loud," the commenter said, and advised council members to review prior police reports if needed.
