Planning commission will review public input; recommendation to supervisors expected in weeks

County officials emphasized that the June 25 session was intended to gather public comment, not to approve any ordinance changes. The county administrator and presenter told the audience that planning staff would take the next several weeks to review comments and that the planning commission will revisit the draft at its next regular meeting.
"Nothing nothing is decided tonight. Tonight is a listening session only just to gauge the input and the comments and the, the feelings from the from the citizenry," a presenter said, and planning staff invited residents to return to the planning commission meeting scheduled for the fourth Thursday of next month and to contact individual supervisors. After the planning commission issues a recommendation, the Board of Supervisors will consider the proposal at a later meeting.
