Pequot Lakes board approves mental-health MOU, e-learning plan, student trip and grant resolutions; accepts donations
Summary
The board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Nystrom & Associates for mental health services, adopted the 2024–25 e-learning plan, approved an Honor Band overnight trip to UMD (Nov. 1–2), supported Form A and B MSHSL grant applications and accepted $68,219.64 in district donations plus $2,328.67 in student-activity donations.
The board voted 4-0 to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Nystrom & Associates to provide mental health services to students, and separately approved the district's 2024–25 e-learning plan. The board also approved an overnight Honor Band trip to the University of Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 1–2, 2024.
Board members adopted resolutions supporting Form A and Form B grant applications to the Minnesota State High School League Foundation intended to offset student activity fees and provide program support. The board also adopted a resolution accepting donations listed in the packet; the donations table records district-account donations totaling $68,219.64 and student activity fund donations totaling $2,328.67 with named donors and designated purposes.
