Owatonna school board approves resolution related to proposed student expulsion

The motion to adopt the "Resolution Relating to the Proposed Expulsion" was moved by Ron Kubicek and seconded by Jolayne Mohs; a roll-call vote recorded all board members voting in favor and the motion carried.
The board had met in closed session earlier in the meeting under Minnesota law governing nonpublic data (Minn. Stat. 13D.05, Subd. 2(a)). The minutes record the closed session began at 12:02 PM and the board returned to open session at 12:09 PM.
