Principal Diane Diamond and Assistant Principal Katie Palacios summarized student accomplishments and school activities at Fair Oaks Ranch Community School during the March 11 Sulphur Springs Union School District board meeting. The board approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from February 25, 2026 by 5-0 voice vote and then recognized six employees with certificates of recognition: Bonnie Russon, Danielle Johnson, Fabi Almendarez (certificated); Laura Baltazar and Debra Tardif (classified). The meeting was called to order by Board President Mrs. Shelley Weinstein at 7:03 PM; sixth-grader Zeidi Nierva led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The presentation emphasized classroom programs and a district-supported LEGO program described by trustees as a model. Mrs. Weinstein said the CLASS Education Foundation is working to expand the LEGO program to Valley View Community School and possibly other district schools. Trustees thanked staff for their work and noted the energy from students and teachers in the presentation. No formal board action was required beyond the routine approvals and recognitions.
