Charter Schools, Inc. trustees sworn in; board recognizes staff contributions

Theda Green, Linda Davis, Diana Cruz and Ernest Crowley were administered the oath of office on Jan. 23 during the Charter Schools, Inc. board meeting in Dallas. Mercedez Gutierrez administered the oath as the board completed its organizational opening for the year.
Dr. Brenton White recognized the board for Board Appreciation Month and reviewed district administrative items including staffing recognition. He also announced a public hearing on the 2023–24 TAPR to be held Feb. 20, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting minutes record that the district continues to work on increasing enrollment, with figures reported as of 01/21/2025.
