The Litchfield Public Schools board approved its consent agenda during the Jan. 27 meeting. The motion (Oster moved; Danielson seconded) carried 5-0. Personnel items included hiring Deagan Weatherholt as a Custodial Student Worker for three hours per day at $13.50 per hour starting Jan. 20, 2025; resignations from Stephen Solem (Assistant HS Football Coach, effective Jan. 7, 2025) and Ethan Holtz (Custodial Student Worker, effective Jan. 17, 2025); and an increase in Early Childhood Special Education para Tracy Gunderson's schedule by 90 minutes on Thursday mornings starting Jan. 30, 2025 (to be re-evaluated at the end of the school year).
The consent agenda also included multiple lane changes for staff (examples listed in the minutes include Dan Timm: MA+15 to MA+30; Anne Mahoney: BA+30 to BA+45; Kyle Podratz: MA+45 to MA+60). The board recorded no separate discussion on these items in the minutes; all consent items were approved as a single motion.
