During its May 19 meeting the Hill City board approved carrying over unused vacation days from the 2024–25 school year to 2025–26 for specified support staff: School Secretaries Jessica Boatman and Mendy Oukrop, and Custodians Bill Clarke and Mark J Meyer.
The motion (moved by Jay Zapzalka, seconded by Jeremy Nelson) passed unanimously 6–0. The board recorded the personnel names and authorized the administrative carryover as part of routine employee benefits and human resources actions for the coming school year.
No dollar amounts or limits were recorded in the minutes for the carryover; the vote recorded only that the board authorized carrying over the unused time for the named employees.
