The Pekin Community High School Board on Nov. 24 approved payment of monthly warrants totaling $3,424,242.91.
"Recommend Board approval to pay monthly warrants as submitted for $3,424,242.91," the minutes record; the motion was made by Scott Ewing and seconded by Stephen Huey and passed with four yeas and two absences.
Chief Financial Officer Carla Schaefer provided a brief financial snapshot to the Board. As of Oct. 31, 2025 the district reported bank balances of $33,100,484.46 and district investments of $13,219,457.44; the medical care report showed ($79,766.44). Schaefer also presented an estimated FY2025 tax levy that the Board will consider for approval in December.
