The Carbondale Elementary School District No. 95 Board of Education approved a series of personnel actions at its May 21 meeting. The board accepted resignations from Brandy Reinschmidt (Instructional Aide, Lewis School, effective April 24, 2026) and Tagw Almnan (Instructional Aide, Thomas School, effective May 22, 2026).
The board approved employment of paraprofessionals (China Sutton and Jaleigh Moss at Parrish; Courtney Adams at Thomas) pending clear criminal background investigations; approved Rebecca Greene as a custodian at Carbondale Middle School retroactive to May 18, 2026; and approved summer maintenance assistants and summer technology workers with names and conditional clearances recorded in the minutes. The board also approved a posting for four summer office help positions at approximately 40 hours each at $15 per hour.
On certified personnel, the board approved Eleanor Starck as a social worker at Parrish and Jennifer Conwell as a special education teacher at Lewis for the 2026–27 school year, pending clear CBIs. The board granted maternity leaves for Ashley Whitehead (beginning on or around Aug. 10, return Jan. 4, 2027) and Kayli Pierson (beginning on or around Aug. 22, return no later than Nov. 9, 2026). The board also approved posting for a Dean of Students at Carbondale Middle School. All personnel motions recorded in the minutes carried by voice or roll call votes as noted.
