The Sulphur Springs Union School District Board recognized students from Canyon Springs Community School who participated in the California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) Student Writing Contest. Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi highlighted that 22 students submitted essays for the statewide contest and praised teacher Ms. Eid for her role in preparing students.
Representatives Crystal Carr and Colton Bedard from Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo's office attended and presented certificates to students. The Board recessed briefly at 7:35 PM before reconvening at 7:41 PM.
