The Minnewaska Area Schools Board designated the Pope County Tribune as the official district newspaper for the 2025 calendar year by unanimous roll-call vote. The designation was made by motion of Ogdahl, seconded by Lagred, and approved by all members present.
Later in the meeting, the board authorized administrative personnel to contact legal counsel to address legal issues "as necessary and in a timely manner." That authorization was moved by Barsness and seconded by Ogdahl and carried by unanimous roll-call vote.
