Board approves Resolution 2026-01 and begins review of multiple policy revisions

The Inyo County Board of Education approved Resolution 2026-01 (RUS/DLT Agency Relationship Certificate) on a 4-0 vote Feb. 24. Trustee George Lozito moved the resolution; Trustee David Hefner seconded, and the motion carried 4-0.
The board also held an initial reading of several proposed policy and administrative revisions, including CBP 0410 (Nondiscrimination in County Office Programs and Activities), CBP 0420.4 (Authorization of County Charter Schools), CBP 1340 (Access to County Office Records), CBP/COR 1445 (Response to Immigration Enforcement), COR 4361.1 (Personal Illness/Injury Leave), and CBP 5125 and related exhibits on student records and release of directory information. The minutes record the items presented for initial reading but do not record final adoption.
