Board schedules charter school renewals, site visits and community engagements

Trustee Joe Profita provided updates from the Eastern Sierra Foundation and the board agreed to invite foundation members to a future meeting to discuss goals and plans. The trustees noted that YouthBuild, The Education Corps and College Bridge Academy charter schools are up for renewal next year and will schedule site visits in spring 2026 as part of the renewal process.
The board also reviewed other open items: the Inyo County Office of Education holiday party is set for Dec. 5 at the Bishop Country Club, the January board meeting will be held in Shoshone, and the Indian Creek CSP/Water Association has inquired about possibly installing solar panels on an ICOE building; trustees said they need further information and discussion before taking any position.
