During the consent portion of the meeting the board approved the Oct. 9 minutes. Vice President David Hefner moved to approve the minutes, and Trustee Joe Profita seconded; the motion passed 4-0. The board also approved Board Resolution 2025-09 (CDSS 2026/27 Continued Funding Application) and a Non-Certified/Full Cost Rate for families; both motions were moved by Trustee George Lozito, seconded by Trustee Joe Profita, and carried 4-0.
Among business items, the trustees authorized selling a fleet vehicle as surplus property via sealed bids (motion by D. Hefner, seconded by J. Profita; carried 4-0). The board also approved revised board policies, exhibits, and administrative regulations for agenda items 2'10 (moved by J. Profita, seconded by G. Lozito; carried 4-0).
Several items were discussed but not decided: the board reviewed the cost difference for a proposed inclusive playground at West Bishop Preschool but took no vote, and the playground cost issue will return on a future agenda once additional cost details are provided.
