Principal Matt Springer told the board the new Jace HVAC control system has been installed and is operating at the junior-senior high building. Springer said staff are finalizing a list of grade 6–11 students who will be exempt from semester tests scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, May 20 and 21; exemption criteria include absences, tardies, missing assignments, and testing growth in three of four core subject areas.
Springer also said an intervention and enrichment period for grades 6–8 is being finalized for the 2025–2026 school year. He reported a projected decrease in kindergarten enrollment for 2025–26, meaning only one kindergarten section is planned and no additional elementary instructors will be hired. The ESSA Title I Consolidated Monitoring Review was also noted as completed.
