Ascension Parish Schools introduces four new administrators as school year begins

Superintendent Dr. Clark Walker introduced four newly hired administrators — principals and assistant principals for several Ascension Parish schools — and each spoke briefly to thank the board, district leaders and their families.
Superintendent Dr. Clark Walker introduced four new administrators joining Ascension Parish Schools and outlined their educational backgrounds and district experience. "Tonight, I have the privilege of introducing 4 new administrators within our system," Dr. Walker said, noting each has served in various roles in the district and will assume leadership roles at Lake Primary, Gonzales Primary, Lake Middle and Gonzales Middle schools.
Each administrator addressed the board and attendees, thanking district leaders and family. Mikey Long, introduced as principal of Lake Primary School, said she "cannot wait to celebrate the future successes" of students and staff. Allison, introduced as the principal of Gonzales Primary, thanked the board and district leadership and described the district as a support system. Katie Babin, named assistant principal of Lake Middle School, said she is "a proud product, parent, and part of Ascension Parish Schools." Jessica Hall, named assistant principal at Gonzales Middle School, said she is honored and committed to serving students "with humility, with integrity, and with heart."
