The Rockford Board of Education adopted a resolution authorizing Administrative Assistant Courtney Neibert as the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) for the district's Education Identity and Access Management (EDIAM) system. The IOwA is responsible for authorizing, reviewing and recertifying user access to Minnesota state education secure systems and revoking access when no longer required.
On a roll call vote the board recorded votes in favor by Gordee, Edwards, Kneeland, Johnson, Praska and Hillstrom; no members voted against. The resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The district was advised that the IOwA designation must be completed and submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education and updated any time the assigned person changes.
