At the March 16 meeting the Bristow City Council recorded the following actions: approval of the March 2, 2026 minutes (motion by Kevin Deshazo, second by Joe Church; Fletcher abstained), approval of the consent agenda including several claims and payroll items, enrollment in SpiritBank's Enhancement Account (sweep) using the Bristow Municipal Authority account at 1.4% interest, adoption of a resolution supporting the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority's Access Oklahoma program, approval to close Bristow City Park on April 4, 2026 for the annual Easter egg hunt, approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with CREOKS Mental Health Services, Inc., and hiring approvals for Angus Ponder (fire) and Walisi Underwood (animal control).
Several motions were moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes and passed by roll-call votes. The council also voted to continue consideration of the False Alarm ordinance to the May 18 agenda for further study. No contested roll-call outcomes were recorded at this meeting.
