Assistant superintendent Tanya Magani told the board the district set a record with 15 schools recognized for PBIS this year and invited school leaders and staff to the front for photos.
"This year, a district record 15, 1 5, schools have been recognized for their outstanding implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports," the facilitator said, listing bronze, silver and gold recipients and asking school leaders to come forward. Magani told the board PBIS work is "helping all students thrive academically and socially" and highlighted that award levels reflect tiered supports and data improvements.
The board and staff recognized multiple elementary and middle schools at bronze, silver and gold levels. The announcement emphasized PBIS's measurable goals — including attendance and disciplinary outcomes — and invited further celebration at the district level.
