Superintendent Dr. Renee Corneille presented the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District's Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness plan for 2024–25 and beyond.
The plan includes four district goals. Goal 1 sets a kindergarten-readiness target: "98% of the students who attend preschool at St. Anthony Community Services and enter Kindergarten in September of 2025 will meet expectations as measured by the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment." Goal 2 aims to reduce the proficiency gap between students of color and white students by 25 percentage points on grades 3, 5 and 8 Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments by spring 2028. Goal 3 sets a college/career benchmark that 11th graders average a 23 composite score on the ACT by 2028. Goal 4 aims for a 95% four‑year graduation rate for the cohort of 2025, measured by the Minnesota Department of Education report card.
The presentation included specific interim measures (screening, assessments and targeted interventions) and will be tracked through district data systems. The board packet lists the goals and associated timelines and metrics; implementation will involve building leaders and instructional coaches.
