Town to auction obsolete vehicles and equipment on GovDeals starting Aug. 10

Among the items John mentioned were a 2012 Ford F250 with about 141,000 miles, a 1999 F550 with about 84,790 miles, a 2012 Nissan van with nearly 100,000 miles and a 1972 Ford tractor. "The auction is starting on GovDeals on August 10," he said, and added some items may be held back if replacements are pending.
The board voted to approve the sale of the obsolete equipment as presented and asked staff to provide an update on results after the auction period.
