District staff reported that they concluded the required water‑quality test period and that the treatment plant is now operating in fully automated SCADA‑controlled mode while regulatory compliance parameters are documented.
Engineering and operations staff said the Division of Drinking Water and related state staff conducted an on‑site review and toured the facility with the owner's consultant. Staff told the board they considered the site visit positive and said they are hopeful a conditional permit to discharge into the distribution system will be issued pending final regulatory review. No final permit was announced at the meeting.
Board members thanked staff for the update and asked technical questions about acceptance and handover of utilities and about timing of contractor mobilization on related park and irrigation projects.
