HR reports fewer workplace incidents; multiple senior recruitments underway

HR reported that OSHA Form 300A data in the finance packet show a decrease in the number of incidents requiring employees to be away from work compared with the prior year and said the safety committee is focusing on pairing seasonal interns with experienced staff for early tailgate trainings.
"I did just wanna point out that the OSHA form 300 a is all the sort of within the finance package. We had the number of incidents, that required an employee to be away from work was down, from the 2023 previous year," a staff member said, adding that roughly "75% of our incidents where interns are seasonal" and describing initiatives to pair seasonals with safety-trained full-time staff.
Staff also reported multiple active recruitments: interviews for a director of utilities position next week, completed interviews for an accountant position created in the budget, upcoming interviews for a finance and administration director in early April, and an associate/senior civil engineer opening later in April. Staff announced an internal leadership program cohort and said the next session is scheduled for next Wednesday.
