Construction progress: piers drilled, inspections and ARPA funds nearing exhaustion

On funding, Stacy said approximately $32,000,000 of ARPA funds have been spent against an ARPA allocation of about $38,000,000, and remaining costs for the project would rely on local funding. Committee members asked follow-up questions about cost mitigation and amendments to design contracts.
"No new surprises, so that phase is very well funded," Stacy said when describing the pier-drilling phase, and the committee discussed next steps and oversight provisions for future expenditures.
