The Board of Directors of Corvallis School District 509J met on Dec. 19, 2024, at the Linus Pauling Middle School Commons. Assistant Superintendent Melissa Harder presented a Board Goals document and described district efforts to strengthen alignment between daily work and the board’s stated goals. The meeting opened at 5:32 p.m. and was adjourned at 8:07 p.m.
Harder told the board the goals serve as a framework to guide the district’s work and said the documents are posted online with the meeting packet and will be archived with the official 2024–25 board records. No motions or votes on policy were recorded at the special meeting. Board members used the meeting’s rotation format to review school scorecards and report back on where they observed alignment with the goals.
