Superintendent Jeff Pesta presented his FY25 annual goals to the board. He outlined priorities in four areas: district finances (including maintaining a positive fund balance and piloting a purchasing card system), human capital (drafting an HR manual, job descriptions and recruitment), policy work (completing an online policy manual and mandatory reviews), and governance responsibilities (serving as CEO and preparing meeting agendas and minutes).
Pesta’s packet listed specific tasks and timelines tied to each priority and emphasized supervising and evaluating direct reports as part of human capital development. Board members noted the goals and signaled they expect updated drafts and progress reports during upcoming meetings.
