YME board accepts six resignations and approves five new hires

The Yellow Medicine East ISD #2190 board on May 12 accepted resignations from staff including Kari Coulter (Math Teacher), Taryn Reishus (FaCS Teacher), Amber Engesser (MS/HS Paraprofessional), Samantha Placek (Honor Society Advisor), Beth Jahn (Lego League Coach) and Amy Hoernemann (Lego League Coach).
The board also approved employment for five new staff: Alexis Smith as School Readiness Teacher, Austin Sorenson as Outside Maintenance Lead, Shelly Hansen as Summer Custodial Lead, Andrew Flaten as Summer Groundskeeper/Custodian and Annelise Jahn as Student Technology Assistant. Motions accepting resignations and approving hires were recorded as carried in the minutes.
