Staff presented Amendment No. 1 to the professional services agreement with Trinity James for owner advisory services on the Tom Cedar system reconstruction, and recommended placing the amendment on the consent calendar.
The presenter described the contract history and numbers: "We originally entered into a contract for, $399,000. We under spent that on a time and materials basis by about 70,000," and said those previously contracted funds will be reallocated into Amendment No. 1. The presenter stated the committee is seeking an increase of about $206,000 to the contract value even though the scoped amount of work is roughly $276,000; staff said all costs are included within reapproved budgets and that future field‑scoped work (geotechnical surveying, hauling) is not yet fully scoped but may be covered later.
Committee members had no further questions and the chair said the amendment would go in consent. The presenter noted that Kenny Jenks' work will be submitted for reimbursement when loan agreements are entered.
Next steps: staff will include the amendment on the consent calendar and submit invoices or supporting documentation for reimbursement processes as loan agreements are finalized.
