Council approves street closing for veterans fundraiser car show in October

Council members asked whether there are current Homes for Our Troops builds locally and how many homes the nonprofit has constructed; organizers said there are 18 in North Carolina and discussed logistics and partner support. Council voted to approve the street closing after a motion and second.
